Prerequisites

To be able to use SwirlyMessage on your iPad you must consider the following:

  • You must have an iPad 3G, ie your iPad must have a built in 3G modem
  • Your SIM-card/carrier plan must allow for sending SMSes (and MMSes if you want to do that as well). If you are unsure about this please contact your carrier and tell them to enable SMS and/or MMS.
  • Your iPad 3G must be jailbroken. Jailbreaking is nothing dangerous, read all about how to jailbreak here.

Download and Installation

SwirlyMessage is available for jailbroken iPads with a built in 3G modem. It is very easy to download and install SwirlyMessage via Cydia. Cydia is the installation program that is automatically installed when you jailbreak your iPad.
